Created from a love for Pilates, design, and beautiful spaces, Play Studio & Co. was built to feel more personal than a traditional studio.​ Pilates can sometimes feel aspirational. From the people you see doing it, to the studios themselves, to the experience as a whole, it can feel like something you have to fit into before you can be part of it.

We wanted to make a space that feels different.

​

Play is a Pilates studio built around good movement, good spaces, and good company. We teach under STOTT Pilates principles, with a focus on alignment, technique, and understanding how the body moves. Our classes are small and our approach is personal, giving you the space to learn, improve, and find what works for you.

​

But Play isn't only about the time spent in class, we wanted to create a place where you could stay a little longer, have a drink after class, meet someone new, or simply take your time. That's why the studio and matcha bar live together. We like the idea that your time at Play doesn't have to end when your class does.

We're also very intentional about the space. We wanted it to feel clean and considered, but still warm and lived-in. Somewhere that feels beautiful without feeling intimidating or untouchable. The space is meant to be enjoyed, not just looked at.

The same goes for our matcha. We source ours directly from Kagoshima, whisk it by hand, and make our sauces and garnishes from scratch. We spent a lot of time developing the menu and figuring out what we genuinely liked and wanted to share.

At the end of the day, Play is a space we wanted to create around the things we enjoy: Pilates, matcha, design, good company, and having somewhere to slow down for a while.
